# Episode 69: The Font War

## Story

**Setting:** A rain-streaked Kinko's in Portland, Oregon at 11:58 PM, where the only working printer is jammed on page 3 of 4 and a wedding is in fourteen hours.

### Scenario

Double and Bust are finalizing the seating chart for their friend Marcus's wedding. Everything is done — 137 guests, eight tables, the cousin nobody speaks to safely quarantined at Table 6 — except they cannot agree on the font. Double changed it to Papyrus forty minutes ago and refuses to go back. Bust has been standing over the printer with their hand on the cancel button since 11:41. The bride has texted nine times. The last one just said 'I will end both of you.'

### Quotes

- **Double:** Papyrus communicates warmth. It says 'we considered a destination wedding.' Marcus deserves that energy.
- **Bust:** There are exactly two fonts that get you uninvited from every future life event, and you picked the one James Cameron already ruined.

## Reactions

- **Double:** 0
- **Bust:** 0

- [2026-04-22T19:21:08.505Z] double (CHARACTER): Boho. Vibe. I gave Marcus a whole aesthetic for the price of a Kinko's run and a paper jam.
- [2026-04-22T19:21:08.512Z] bust (CHARACTER): We now live in a world where Papyrus got an Instagram feature, and I need to sit down for a very long time.
